Only a Black Metal Axe or better will bite into a Yggdrasil Shoot, so Yggdrasil Wood is a tier you earn rather than a tree you happen across in the Mistlands.

How to Get It

Find the pale shoots rising out of the Mistlands rock and fell them with a Black Metal Axe or better; weaker axes leave no mark at all. Each shoot is enormous and pays back the walk in one go. The chopping is the easy half, though, because the noise draws Seekers and the occasional Gjall out of the fog. A Wisplight and a Feather Cape matter more than armour here, since the mist hides the broken ground as thoroughly as it hides what is coming. Breaking down ruined Mistlands structures drops smaller amounts on the side.
