For a few weeks each winter, the build menu grows an extra branch, and the Yule Tree is its centrepiece: a decorated fir a little under three metres tall, meant for the middle of a hall. Ten Wood and a single Fir Cone raise one. Anyone resting near it picks up an extra point of comfort towards their rested bonus.

How to Build It

It takes ten Wood and one Fir Cone shaken out of the firs of the Black Forest, built within range of a Workbench. The real restriction is the calendar, not the cost. The recipe only appears during the Yule period and disappears again afterwards, although a tree you already placed stays standing all year round. With 50 durability it is decoration, not structure, so give it an indoor spot out of the rain and well clear of anything that swings a weapon.
