The Banshee, also called the Beann'shie, is a Specter that haunts Toussaint. It belongs to the Blood and Wine expansion, so it turns up in the late game.

Weaknesses

Coat the silver sword with Specter Oil before the fight. A Banshee calls up skeletons to fight beside it, so expect to face them as well as the wraith itself.

A Beann'shie is the foe in Spoontaneous Profits!, a level 42 treasure hunt in Toussaint. The hunt begins with the Spoon-key note in the Trastamara Estate Ruins. The note leads to the cellar of the Pheasantry, the finest tavern in Toussaint. A cookbook there points to the hidden studio of the elven cook Ra'mses Gor-Thon, in the ruins of a temple to the goddess Danamebi. The Beann'shie is met at those ruins.
