History
The wight was once Marlene de Trastamara, a noblewoman of the estate. Long ago she refused food and shelter to a wandering beggar. He cursed her, and she turned into a monster. The words of the curse are scratched on the walls.
In the main quest La Cage au Fou, Regis needs the saliva of a spotted wight. Geralt tracks it to this abandoned estate. He can kill the wight or try to lift the curse. To break it, he must share the wight's meal without using spoons. If he succeeds, Marlene returns to human form, and the secondary quest The Hunger Game follows.
