Amateur armorer

Cavalry Trousers are light trousers from the base game, in Common, Master, Magic and crafted Magic variants. The crafted variant gives 15-19 armor at level 6. Base game armorers sell them. They are early game, with two guaranteed pairs in White Orchard.

Every variant gives +2% piercing, +2% bludgeoning and +6% slashing resistance. The crafted armor value is rolled once when the diagram is obtained. The loot variants give 5-9 armor plus 2 per level. The Master variant adds 1 random effect, and the Magic variants add 2.

How to Get Cavalry Trousers

  • Common, Master and Magic: buy them from any base game armorer except Zoltan Chivay, or from merchants such as the one in Ursten. They are guaranteed loot in two places in White Orchard and also drop as random loot.
  • Magic (crafted): the same armorers and merchants sell the diagram, and it appears at random diagram locations.

Notes

In NG+ the crafted variant needs level 6 plus the starting level.
