Death from Above is a Relic crossbow from the base game, with +145% attack power and 6-8 damage at level 13. Crach an Craite gives it as a reward during King's Gambit at Kaer Trolde. It is an early-game crossbow from Skellige.
Its bonuses are +145% attack power, +1% adrenaline gain and +5% bonus experience from humans and nonhumans. At level 13 it is the lowest level Relic crossbow. Its attack power and damage match the level 14 Skellige Crossbow. The crossbow brings flying monsters down and is the only usable weapon underwater.
How to Get Death from Above
- Play King's Gambit in Skellige.
- After the feast massacre at Kaer Trolde, help Cerys or Hjalmar.
- Collect the crossbow from Crach an Craite as the reward.
Death from Above Map Location and Quest Guide
The pin marks King's Gambit, a secondary quest at Kaer Trolde in Skellige that follows Possession and The Lord of Undvik. Crach an Craite gives Geralt the relic Death from Above at the end, once the massacre at the feast is investigated with Cerys or Hjalmar.
- Finish Possession and The Lord of Undvik. King's Gambit then starts at Kaer Trolde.
- Follow Arnvald to the feast hall.
- Speak to Crach an Craite in his room. He gives Geralt the Fate silver sword.
- Kill the berserkers that attack the feast hall.
- Choose to help Cerys or Hjalmar investigate the massacre.
- With Cerys, trace the spiked mead to the cellar and unmask Arnvald. With Hjalmar, hunt down Halgrim and the druid Artis at Fornhala.
- Talk to Crach again once the investigation ends. He gives Geralt Death from Above.
