Enhanced Samum is the second tier of Samum. It blinds foes within its explosion radius for longer. The blindness lasts 6 seconds, and one brew holds 3 charges. The Herbalist in Glory Lane and Otto Bamber both sell the formula.
The blast destroys monster nests. Fiends, Sylvans and Shaelmaars are weak to it. Garkains are weak to it as well.
Variants
Samum comes in Base, Enhanced and Superior variants. Each one is brewed from the tier below it.

How to Get Enhanced Samum
- Buy the formula from the Herbalist in Glory Lane, Novigrad, or from Otto Bamber at the Herbalist's Hut northeast of Oxenfurt.
- Brew a Samum first, since the recipe uses one.
- Brew it from the alchemy menu, outside combat, with 1 Stammelford's Dust, 1 Samum, 1 Phosphorus, 1 Foglet Teeth, 1 Celandine and 1 Blowball.
- Meditate with strong alcohol such as Dwarven Spirit, Alcohest or White Gull in the inventory to refill its charges.
Notes
The Pyrotechnics skill makes Enhanced Samum deal damage on top of its effect.
