Choices
Geralt can help François or let him go into the cave alone. Alone, François stands no chance, and Grottore kills him. Geralt can then avenge him or leave the beast alive.
With Geralt's help, François kills Grottore and fulfils his vow. He is in no hurry to keep his next vow at the altar. Geralt can talk him into going home to Jacquette and their wedding. Geralt can also keep the trophy, and François rides off in search of another monster to slay.
