Grandmaster Ursine Armor is a heavy witcher chest armor from Blood and Wine. It is the Grandmaster variant of the Ursine (Bear School) armor. It gives 240 armor and +22% adrenaline gain at level 40. The diagram is in the cavern under the collapsed house between Flovive and Tufo, found during Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Ursine Gear. It is a late-game chest found in Toussaint.
It also gives +26% piercing, +25% bludgeoning, +32% slashing and +32% monster resistance. The set bonuses give free Quen recasts and +200% damage from Quen abilities. Together with the adrenaline gain and the heavy weight class, they suit a Quen tank with adrenaline.
Set Bonus
The Ursine set is heavy armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 20, Enhanced at 25, Superior at 30, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. 3 pieces: when a Quen shield breaks, there is a chance that a new one is cast at no stamina cost. The chance rises by 5% per set piece. 6 pieces: damage dealt by abilities that involve Quen rises by 200%.
How to Get Grandmaster Ursine Armor
- Start the level 40 Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Ursine Gear in Toussaint.
- Enter the cavern under the collapsed house between Flovive and Tufo, at Tufo Vineyard. The armor diagram lies with the gauntlets and silver sword diagrams.
- A grandmaster craftsman crafts it from Mastercrafted Ursine Armor. The quest Master Master Master Master! in Beauclair unlocks this craftsman.

The Grandmaster Ursine Armor diagram sits in a chest in the cavern under a collapsed house between Flovive and the Tufo Vineyard in Toussaint. The pin marks the cavern, where the gauntlets and silver sword diagrams share the chest. It is the first stop of Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Ursine Gear.
- Speak to Lafargue, the grandmaster smith in Beauclair, and ask about the Ursine gear to start Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Ursine Gear.
- Travel to Flovive and head north toward the Tufo Vineyard.
- Find the partly collapsed house between the village and the vineyard.
- Go to the large hole behind the house and clear the rubble with Aard.
- Loot the chest in the small alcove just inside, on the right. The armor diagram is inside, with the gauntlets and silver sword diagrams.

Notes
In NG+ the diagram makes Grandmaster Legendary Ursine Armor instead. It gives 245 armor at level 41 (+5 per level), +34% adrenaline gain and +40% monster resistance.
