Grandmaster Wolven Gauntlets are medium witcher gauntlets from Blood and Wine. They are the Grandmaster variant of the Wolven (Wolf School) gauntlets. They give 87 armor and +11% sign intensity at level 40. The diagram is under the Termes Palace Ruins, found during Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Wolven Gear. They are Toussaint Gauntlets for the late game.
They also give +5% piercing, +6% slashing, +4% monster and +12% elemental resistance. The set bonuses reward Bleeding stacks, which suits a bleeding hybrid build. The sign intensity covers the Sign side of that build.
Set Bonus
The Wolven set is medium armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 14, Enhanced at 21, Superior at 29, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. 3 pieces: each Bleeding effect on an enemy raises sword damage by 1% per set piece. 6 pieces: each adrenaline point raises how many Bleeding effects can stack on one enemy.
How to Get Grandmaster Wolven Gauntlets
- Start the level 40 Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Wolven Gear in Toussaint.
- Open the barrier under the Termes Palace Ruins with a purple ruby. The diagrams lie on a dead witcher's remains and in his bag.
- A grandmaster craftsman crafts them from Mastercrafted Wolven Gauntlets. The quest Master Master Master Master! in Beauclair unlocks this craftsman.
Grandmaster Wolven Gauntlets Map Location and Quest Guide
The Grandmaster Wolven Gauntlets diagram lies on the remains of a dead witcher in the chambers under the Termes Palace Ruins in Toussaint. The pin marks the remains, which also hold both Wolven sword diagrams. They turn up during Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Wolven Gear.
- Speak to Lafargue, the grandmaster smith in Beauclair, and ask about the Wolven gear to start Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Wolven Gear.
- Go to the archeologists' camp next to the Termes Palace Ruins signpost. Search the box by the campfire for Isabelle Duchamp's journal and read it.
- Head north through the ruins to the entrance of the chambers below. A purple barrier blocks the way.
- Pick up the purple ruby nearby and use it on the barrier.
- Fight the wraiths, barghests and giant centipedes in the tunnels. Blast the weak walls with Aard to go deeper.
- Find the small dead-end room and loot the witcher's remains. The gauntlets diagram is on them, with the steel sword and silver sword diagrams.

In NG+ the diagram makes Grandmaster Legendary Wolven Gauntlets instead. They give 89 armor at level 41 (+2 per level), +17% sign intensity and +20% elemental resistance.
