Legendary Manticore Steel Sword is the NG+ Legendary variant of the Manticore Steel Sword, from Blood and Wine. It deals 342.4-418.4 damage at level 41. Its +300 armor piercing ties the Toussaint Knight's Steel Sword for the highest of any steel sword. It needs level 40 plus the NG+ starting level and comes from Toussaint.
It also gives +50% crit damage, +10% crit chance, +15% bleeding chance and +5% bonus experience from humans and nonhumans. Compared with the regular Manticore sword, it adds 50 armor piercing, 5% crit chance and 5% bleeding chance. It has 3 rune slots.

The Manticore set is medium armor with a single Grandmaster tier at level 40. 3 pieces: crit chance and crit damage also apply to bombs, and bombs are thrown with no delay. 6 pieces: each alchemy item gets 1 extra charge.

- In NG+, start Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Manticore Gear.
- Find the diagram in the tower of the Bastoy Prison Ruins.
- A grandmaster blacksmith crafts it.
Legendary Manticore Steel Sword Map Location and Quest Guide
The pin marks the Bastoy Prison Ruins in Toussaint. In New Game +, the Legendary Manticore Steel Sword diagram hides behind a loose brick in the room at the top of the standing tower. The tower is the first stop of Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Manticore Gear, and a grandmaster blacksmith crafts the sword from the diagram.
- Speak to Lafargue, the grandmaster smith in Toussaint, and ask about the Manticore gear to start Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Manticore Gear.
- Go to the Bastoy Prison Ruins.
- Climb the standing tower to the room at the top.
- Use Witcher Senses to spot the loose brick in the wall.
- Loot the brick for the steel sword diagram and read the prisoner's notes.
