  • 1x Enriched Dimeritium Plate
  • 2x Monster Bone
  • 2x Powdered Monster Tissue

Legendary Manticore Trousers are the NG+ variant of Manticore Trousers, medium witcher gear from Blood and Wine. They give 93 armor at level 41, with +5 maximum toxicity and +6% crit chance. Their diagram is in Lebioda's temple in Toussaint. These trousers are late game at level 40 plus the NG+ starting level.

They also give +12% slashing, +10% monster and +45% elemental resistance. Against the regular Manticore Trousers, they raise crit chance from 5% to 6% and elemental resistance from 33% to 45%. The toxicity and the set bonuses suit an alchemy and bombs build.

Set Bonus

The Manticore set is medium armor with a single Grandmaster tier at level 40, plus an NG+ legendary variant. 3 pieces: crit chance and crit damage also apply to bombs, and bombs are thrown with no delay. 6 pieces: each alchemy item gets 1 extra charge.

How to Get Legendary Manticore Trousers

  • In NG+, start Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Manticore Gear.
  • In Lebioda's temple, use Aard to break the wall and take the trousers diagram with the boots diagram.
  • A grandmaster armorer crafts it. The quest Master Master Master Master! in Beauclair unlocks this craftsman.

Legendary Manticore Trousers Map Location and Quest Guide

The Legendary Manticore Trousers diagram sits in Lebioda's temple in Toussaint, in a hidden room behind a wall that Aard breaks open, during Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Manticore Gear. The pin marks the diagram spot, where the boots diagram lies too. It is the New Game + counterpart of the Manticore Trousers diagram and lies at the same spot.

  1. Speak to Lafargue, the grandmaster smith in Beauclair, and ask about the Manticore gear to start Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Manticore Gear.
  2. Go to the Bastoy Prison Ruins and climb the standing tower to the room at the top. Loot the loose brick in the wall for the steel sword diagram and read the prisoner's notes.
  3. Go to the cave southeast of Gélenser Farm and kill the panther outside.
  4. Search the prayer notes on the cavern wall farthest from the entrance and read Merten's Prayer. It gives the armor diagram and points to Lebioda's temple.
  5. Enter Lebioda's temple, go to the farthest room and use Aard to open the hidden area.
  6. Defeat the Great Beggar's Ghost, the specter that attacks there.
  7. Loot the container on the table for the Legendary Manticore Trousers diagram.
