Legendary Ursine Steel Sword is the NG+ variant of the Basic Ursine Steel Sword, witcher gear from the base game. It deals 191.2-233.6 damage at level 21, with +21% adrenaline gain and +75% crit damage. Its diagram is at the Ruined Inn in Skellige. It requires level 20 above the NG+ starting level.
It also gives +5% bonus experience from humans and nonhumans, with 3 rune slots. Against the regular Ursine Steel Sword, it raises adrenaline gain from 5% to 21%, adds the crit damage and has 3 rune slots instead of 1. Its damage rises by 7.2-8.8 per level.
Set Bonus
The Ursine set is heavy armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 20, Enhanced at 25, Superior at 30, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The 3-piece and 6-piece bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a school set. 3 pieces: when a Quen shield breaks, a new one may be cast at no stamina cost, with a 5% chance per set piece worn. 6 pieces: damage dealt by abilities that involve Quen rises by 200%.

- In NG+, go to the Ruined Inn southeast of Fyresdal in Skellige.
- Take the diagram, which lies with the innkeep's notes.
- A journeyman blacksmith crafts it.

The pin marks the Ruined Inn southeast of Fyresdal on Ard Skellig. The Legendary Ursine Steel Sword diagram sits in a side room on the lower level, with the innkeep's notes. It replaces the standard diagram at this spot in New Game +, during Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear, and a journeyman blacksmith crafts the sword from it.
- Start Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear by finding any of its diagrams, or by buying one of Ibrahim Savi's maps from the armorer at Kaer Trolde.
- Travel to the Ruined Inn southeast of the Fyresdal signpost and kill any sirens around it.
- Clear the pile of debris with Aard to reach the level below.
- Kill the wraiths at the bottom of the stairs.
- Loot the side room for the steel sword diagram and read the innkeep's notes.
