The Mastercrafted Silver Sword is a silver sword from the base game in Common, Master and Magic quality. It drops as random loot and many blacksmiths sell it. One copy is the reward for killing the ice giant in The Lord of Undvik in Skellige. Shops in Velen, Novigrad, Oxenfurt and Skellige carry it, and a dropped copy rolls its level and damage.

How to Get Mastercrafted Silver Sword

• Common, Master and Magic: Loot it at random. Blacksmiths in Velen, Novigrad, Oxenfurt and Skellige sell it, along with the merchants at Calveit Watchtower, the road west of White Eagle Fort, the Isolated Hut on Hindarsfjall and Stacheier, and the weapons merchant in the Nilfgaardian Army Group 'Center' Camp.
• Fixed copy: Kill the ice giant in The Lord of Undvik.
• Magic (crafted): Find Diagram: Mastercrafted Silver Sword at a random diagram spot or buy it from the same merchants.

The pin marks The Lord of Undvik, the quest in which Geralt searches the island of Undvik in Skellige for Hjalmar an Craite. A Mastercrafted Silver Sword is the reward for killing the ice giant at the end.

1. Take on The Lord of Undvik from Crach an Craite, then ask Tante and Javor at The New Port inn how to reach the island.
2. Sail to Undvik. Landing on the northeast coast follows their advice.
3. Follow the main path uphill to the broken bridge over the ravine, where the ice giant feeds the sirens.
4. Follow the tracks from the camp full of bodies. Cross the lake east of Urskar, or go through Urskar and the mine to the Clan Tordarroch Forge.
5. Find Hjalmar fighting sirens at the Dorve Ruins and kill them.
6. Head with Hjalmar to the giant's lair.
7. Fight the ice giant. Keep Quen up and strike after his anchor sticks in the ground.
8. Kill the giant to earn the Mastercrafted Silver Sword.
