Moon Dust is a bomb filled with silver splinters. The splinters stop monsters from transforming for a short time. The effect lasts 20 seconds, and this base tier holds 2 charges. Otto Bamber and the Blacksmith in Oxenfurt both sell the formula.
Specters such as Noonwraiths and Nightwraiths are weak to it. Werewolves and Foglets are weak to it as well. So are vampires such as Katakans and Bruxae.

Moon Dust comes in Base, Enhanced and Superior variants. Each one is brewed from the tier below it.

How to Get Moon Dust
- Buy the formula from Otto Bamber at the Herbalist's Hut northeast of Oxenfurt, or from the Blacksmith in Oxenfurt.
- Brew it from the alchemy menu, outside combat, with 1 Saltpeter and 2 Quicksilver Solution.
- Meditate with strong alcohol such as Dwarven Spirit, Alcohest or White Gull in the inventory to refill its charges.
Notes
The Pyrotechnics skill makes Moon Dust deal damage on top of its effect.
