Superior Moon Dust is the top tier of Moon Dust. Its silver splinters stop monsters from transforming for good. One brew holds 4 charges. Gremist sells the formula at Gedyneith on Ard Skellig.
One hit keeps a monster from transforming for the rest of the fight. Specters such as Noonwraiths and Nightwraiths are weak to it. Werewolves and Foglets are weak to it as well. So are vampires such as Katakans and Bruxae.
Variants
Moon Dust comes in Base, Enhanced and Superior variants. Each one is brewed from the tier below it.

How to Get Superior Moon Dust
- Buy the formula from Gremist at Gedyneith on Ard Skellig.
- Brew an Enhanced Moon Dust first, since the recipe uses one.
- Brew it from the alchemy menu, outside combat, with 1 Alchemists' Powder, 1 Enhanced Moon Dust, 2 Quicksilver Solution, 2 Sulfur, 2 Hop Umbels, 2 Blowball and 1 Nigredo.
- Meditate with strong alcohol such as Dwarven Spirit, Alcohest or White Gull in the inventory to refill its charges.
Notes
The Pyrotechnics skill makes Superior Moon Dust deal damage on top of its effect.
