Tor'haerne is a silver sword from the base game in Common, Master, Magic and Relic quality. The Relic variant deals 337-413 damage at level 27 and gives +50% crit damage. Its diagram comes from the Kaer Morhen quest Berengar's Blade. It is a mid-game sword, with the crafted Magic variant at level 23.

The Relic variant gives +50 armor piercing, +50% crit damage, +10% crit chance, +10% bleed chance and +3% dismember chance. The bleeding damage over time suits a bleeding hybrid.

Every other variant gives +50% crit damage. The Master quality adds 1 random Master effect and the Magic quality adds 2 random Magic effects. All variants have 2 rune slots.

How to Get Tor'haerne

Relic: Play the secondary quest Berengar's Blade in the Kaer Morhen valley. Berengar lost the diagram in a cave near the Lakeside Hut.
Magic (crafted): Find its diagram at a random diagram spot, or buy it from blacksmiths in Novigrad, Oxenfurt and Skellige or the merchant at the Isolated Hut on Hindarsfjall.
Common, Master and Magic: Loot it at random or buy it from the same merchants.

Tor'haerne Map Location and Quest Guide

The pin marks Berengar's Blade, a secondary quest that starts at Kaer Morhen. Berengar lost the relic Tor'haerne diagram in a cave near the Lakeside Hut while fleeing a chort, and it lies in a bag there. Finish the quest before the council in The Battle of Kaer Morhen, or it fails.

Find Berengar's notes in a chest in the ruined quarters at Kaer Morhen and read them.
Talk to Vesemir in the keep about Berengar.
Follow the river south to the cave Vesemir names.
Kill the chort deep in the cave.
Search the rest of the cave and loot the bag for the Tor'haerne diagram.
