A Day In The Life is a side job outside The Manufactory on Brandon Street in Arroyo, Santo Domingo. After Playing for Time, V can sit down at a drink stand run by Darrell Zhou. Two young thugs from the block are messing with his motorbike, and he asks V for help. Whether Darrell lives through the day depends on V.
Story
Real Punks
Johnny sounds like his grandfather for a moment in the journal. In his day, he says, being a punk meant something different. People fought the system however they could, frying the biggest fish they could catch and tearing down palaces brick by brick. Now every fool thinks he is a hero for killing an unarmed nobody. It is not V's fight, Johnny admits, but is V sure V does not want to teach those worms a lesson?
Brad and Vance
V and Darrell walk over to the two kids, Brad and Vance, and words fly. Darrell's sister, Shenna, used to run with them, until Darrell talked her into working for Zetatech for better money. Brad and Vance see that as betrayal, and want to steal Darrell's bike as revenge.

Choices
Standing Up for Darrell
With enough Street Cred in Santo Domingo, Vance recognises V, and the two run off. Otherwise, they attack, and V has to beat them. If V refuses to help, Darrell faces the kids alone, and they kill him. The job then fails.
Rewards
Completing A Day In The Life pays 2,157 experience and 3,235 Street Cred.
Darrell pays eddies and gives V a discount at his stand. The job also pays experience and Street Cred.
Tips
Build up Street Cred in Santo Domingo first, as the second tier lets the job end without a fight.
