Charles Bucks is a ripperdoc with a clinic in northern Kabuki, Watson. On the surface he is a doctor like any other. Underneath, the cyberware he sells comes from the Scavengers, who run an illegal clinic in his basement.

Biography

Charles looks like an ordinary street doctor, and his shop works like any other ripperdoc's. The truth sits below it. He has a deal with the Scavengers, who strip implants from their victims, and his basement holds their hidden operating room.

The secret comes out in Last Login, one of Regina Jones's gigs. After the job, Charles can be confronted. If V agrees to forget what was in the basement, he gives a lasting discount on everything he sells. If V threatens him, he tries to run, and attacking him closes his clinic for good.
