Cherry Blossom Market is a covered market in Japantown, under a high glass roof. It is named after the trees and flowers around it, which look like a constant bloom of pink and white. It is one of the most colourful shopping areas in Night City, with goods that are hard to find anywhere else.
History
Crystal Park Market
The market was first known as Crystal Park Market. It was planned as a glass covered day market, with pop up booths for local sellers. It was sold as a walkable shopping street with a bohemian feel, and it had its own garden shop.
The Rainbow Cadenza
Long before that, the same spot held the Rainbow Cadenza. The rock band Samurai played some of its first gigs in that club. When the club was torn down, a small restaurant took its place.
A New Name
In time the market took the name Cherry Blossom, after the trees around it. It is now one of the contenders for the most colourful shopping area in the city.

Life in Cherry Blossom Market
By day the market is quiet, and shoppers browse at their own pace. At night most of the shops open and lay out exotic goods that are hard to find anywhere else in the city. The line up of vendors keeps changing, and food, drink and clothes are all sold under the same glass roof.
