Dressed to Kill

Dressed to Kill
Type Side Job
Region Badlands
Items Thorton Colby CX410 "Gran Butte"

Dressed to Kill is a short side job at the Desert Film Set, at Jeff's Dirt Track east north east of the town of Rocky Ridge in the Badlands. As V arrives, a Trauma Team AV flies off, leaving a scene of carnage behind: dead Wraiths, dead models in high end clothes, and a fine looking car, the Thorton Colby CX410 "Gran Butte".

Story

A Photo Shoot

Johnny is impressed in the journal. A photo shoot in Wraith territory? Respect. Nothing sells like a good, gory firefight, and he remembers the underground word of mouth gigs of his own day. It seems someone was trying to sell overpriced rags out here, but at least they had the nerve to drag everyone out in that sweet ride.

The Shard

Some of the bodies wear Wraith colours. Others wear clothes far more suited to a media star. A shard on one of the victims tells the story. An executive of a high end clothing brand decided to hold a photo shoot in the Badlands, to show off how versatile and comfortable the clothing line was and to appeal to a more rustic sense of fashion. The Gran Butte stood in for the usual limo or sports car.

The shoot drew the Wraiths, who preferred shooting bullets to shooting pictures. The models had brought their own guns for just such a moment, and a firefight broke out between the two sides.
