Rocky Ridge is a ghost town in the north east of the Badlands, a planned suburb that was never finished. It was sold as a quiet alternative to Rancho Coronado within reach of the city. The money ran out and the residents were left behind.
History
After Corp-Bud closed its facilities in the eastern Badlands, the town struggled until investors promised to rebuild it as a self-sufficient residential area. A planned freeway extension was the selling point.
The nearby businesses went bankrupt, the freeway was put on indefinite hold, and construction became too expensive to finish. Rocky Ridge was left half built and mostly empty.

Life in Rocky Ridge
The town has a bar, a fuel station and empty streets laid out for houses that were never built. Several unique items lie in its cellars and basements.
Rocky Ridge was meant to match Rancho Coronado: cosy, practical and self sufficient, with a home for the family of every worker building the nearby highway. It was sold as a peaceful paradise a short drive from the city. When the building sites were deserted, the contractors lost their jobs and the houses stood empty. Today the town is almost forgotten by Night City, apart from looters and the odd band of Raffen Shiv.
