Epistrophy: The Glen is one of the seven runaway cab hunts of Epistrophy, for Delamain. The divergent cab waits at the crossing of Hanford and McBride Streets in the Glen, Heywood. It is frightened, and convinced V has come to finish it off.
Story
The Old Campus
The journal remembers that the Glen was once a college campus. Some people thought huge loans and a biotech degree would make their lives better. Then reality kicked in: it was easier to jump off a bridge than get into a corporate lab. It makes Johnny wonder why the rogue cab chose this place of all places.
A Frightened Cab
When V gets close, the cab calls and asks whether V has come to finish it off. V says V is only there to reset it, and the cab panics and tries to drive itself off the viewpoint. After that, V explains that V wants to help, not hurt it, and talks it down. The cab agrees to go back to the headquarters.
