Biography

---

After decades away, Karubo returned to Night City and took over the Jacked and Coke. Padre put out a contract on him for his old crimes. Gustavo Orta once tried to hire him for a hit on 6th Street, but Karubo refused.

The game's Database describes crimes few could imagine. Long ago, Karubo was the terror of Night City, murdering whole families. Then he suddenly vanished, and most people assumed he had met the end he deserved in some gutter. Now he is back, much older and calmer, hiding in a dive bar in the hope that the city has forgotten him. It has not, and it never will.

Padre's brief quotes the prophet Jeremiah: cursed is he who keeps his sword from bloodshed. There is a time for forgiveness, Padre says, and a time for revenge.
