Milko Alexis is a netrunner of the Voodoo Boys who hacks the implants of corporate engineers from afar. As a small child he could take apart and rebuild a cyberdeck faster than a NetWatch agent types a password. But for a child born into the Haitian community of Pacifica, choices are few. The gang noticed his talent early, and the protection it gave him came at a price: sleepless nights full of remorse.

The Voodoo Boy

Milko belongs to the Voodoo Boys who live in Dogtown and control part of Luxor Heights. His body is thin and sickly from his obsession with the net, and his eyes are a featureless white with dark rings around them, open even while he runs. His people say he spends more time in the net than in the real world.

The Blackmail

Milko is known for a cruel kind of blackmail. He threatens to wreck the implants and artificial organs of his victims through the net unless they do as he says. His victims are engineers of the corporations, and their lives literally depend on his mercy.

Milko is withdrawn, fragile and guilt-ridden. He does what the gang demands, but his conscience keeps him awake at night.

Milko can die, and his place in the ring is then implied to pass to another netrunner like him. If he lives, Alan Noël uses him to reach the leaders of the blackmail scheme, who are sent to prison. What becomes of Milko after that is unknown.
