Odell Blanco
Type	Side Character
Affiliation	Haven Clinic
DLC	Phantom Liberty

Odell Blanco is a former Catholic priest who now works as a spiritual adviser at the Haven clinic in Dogtown. He is an idealist who is not afraid of hard truths.

Biography

---

When his church began to empty, Odell chose to act. Instead of shutting out the newcomers of Dogtown who needed a roof over their heads, he opened his doors even wider. Today he helps the patients of the Haven clinic and works with its doctor, Anthony Anderson.

The game's Database calls Odell an idealist who is not afraid to face the truth. When the pews of his church began gathering dust, he did not close the doors to the newcomers of Dogtown who needed a roof. He opened them wider. If the hopelessness of the clinic has not cost him his faith, the Database adds, either he never truly believed in God or he is a saint.

Odell has no medical training, but he gives patients basic care alongside spiritual comfort. He also writes to charities, asking for bandages, needles and medicine, and he is not above asking a dealer for expired drugs that can still ease his patients' pain and give them a night's sleep.
