Mr. Hands is the fixer of Pacifica and Dogtown, and the most mysterious fixer in Night City. Few people have seen his face, and his true identity is a closely guarded secret. He acts like a smooth-talking gentleman, but every move he makes is calculated for his own profit. He hands out the gigs of Pacifica, arranges V's meeting with the Voodoo Boys and plays a major part in Phantom Liberty.
Biography
Wade Bleecker
Before he became Mr. Hands, he was Wade Bleecker, a well-known employee of Petrochem who had climbed high up the corporate ladder. When the company's top management was shaken up, someone decided that blood had to be spilled for the sake of efficiency, and Bleecker was chosen as the sacrifice. He was cunning enough to survive the first attempt on his life. When an official bounty was put on his head, he had no choice but to change his name and his face and disappear for good.
The Fixer of Pacifica
Under his new name, Bleecker built a career as the leading fixer of Pacifica, a district most of the city has given up on. He keeps no known base and works through calls and messages. He contacts V with work in Pacifica, and after the search for Evelyn Parker, V calls him for a way to reach the Voodoo Boys. He arranges the meeting with Placide. He tells V to call only about business, though he is happy to answer questions, and he can bond with a Corpo V over their shared past.
Dogtown
In Phantom Liberty, Mr. Hands has moved for a time into the Heavy Hearts club in Dogtown, the walled district ruled by Kurt Hansen. He wants to make a name for himself there and spreads a web of contacts across the district. He meets V in person for the first time and helps with the plan to get President Myers out. He then offers V a long list of gigs in Dogtown, each one a step toward the power he wants.
