Dogtown Saints is a Phantom Liberty gig from Mr. Hands in Dogtown, Pacifica. Anthony Anderson runs the Haven Clinic in an old church, the only help many poor people of Dogtown can get. Now the Scavenger Nika Yankovich and her crew have stormed it, chased out the patients and his assistant, Odell Blanco, and Anderson has barricaded himself in his office. Nika only wants to see her twin brother. Nothing about the case is as black and white as it seems.

Story

The Poor Never Catch a Break

Mr. Hands sighs in the journal. The poor never catch a break. Anderson's clinic can barely make ends meet, and now the Scavengers are giving it hell too. The gang has some business with the good doctor, and he could not care less: he has locked himself in his office, nobody in and nobody out. Worse, he is the only physician the clinic has. V is to speak with his assistant, Odell Blanco, and sort out this sick situation.

Odell

Odell has set up a makeshift clinic across the road, at the Golden Fleece. He explains that Nika learned her brother, Gaspar, had been brought to the clinic. When Anderson refused to let her see him, she came back with her crew and threw everyone out.

The Basement

In the basement, Nika holds the ripperdoc at gunpoint and demands her brother. Anderson explains that Gaspar overdosed and died soon after he arrived, but at least his implants could be harvested to save other lives. Nika will not accept it, and demands the body.

The Clinic

Meet Mr. Hands' client, Odell Blanco, at the Golden Fleece and talk to him.
Go to the old church across the road and find a way in. Climbing to a vantage point helps.
Deal with the Scavengers inside.
Take the door down to the basement and find Anthony Anderson's office.

The Standoff

See what is going on in the office.
Talk to Nika and Anderson.
Neutralise Nika, leave Anderson to her, or talk Anderson into giving up the body.
Leave the clinic.

Choices

Anderson or Nika

V can neutralise Nika, to Anderson's relief. The other Scavengers then turn on V. Anderson plans to clean up and carry on with his work, and Hands congratulates V, though Anderson turned down his offer of help with the bodies, preferring to examine them himself.

V can also leave Anderson's fate to Nika, who beats him to death. The cold room across from his office, where Gaspar's body lies, opens from the laptop on the desk, so V can tell Nika the body is there. Back at the Golden Fleece, Odell mourns Anderson and says they are finished, but V can convince him to run the clinic in his place. Hands is unhappy that Anderson died, but closes the gig, as the Scavengers are no longer a threat.

The best end is to talk Anderson down. He gives up Gaspar's body to his sister, revealing it is in the cooling room across from his office. Hands is pleased that nobody died, as Anderson and the clinic will not have to fear revenge from the Scavengers.
