Radar Love is a Thievery gig from Dakota Smith in the Badlands. Militech has turned a deserted motel into a heavily guarded outpost, where it tests a prototype mobile radar that can scan the ground and vehicles over a wide area. It makes life much harder for the nomads who cross the border unseen. Dakota wants the radar van stolen, so the Aldecaldos can turn it to their own use.
Story
The Circle of Life
Dakota explains in the journal. The Badlands are a fragile ecosystem, where every piece plays an important part. Change one thing, and the whole circle of life starts to unravel. Militech does not seem to understand that, and has set up a whole operation to seal the borders. They have a prototype mobile radar unit that tracks Aldecaldo transports, parked at their newest outpost. If Dakota gets her hands on it, the Aldecaldos can reverse engineer a jamming signal to beat the new Militech toy. Once the transports are invisible again, the ecosystem will be back in balance.
The Outpost
Militech guards the old motel well. The radar van, marked P9D/2.161, waits inside one of the buildings, and the base is ringed by guards.
