Rancho Coronado is the suburb of Santo Domingo, a self-contained town of identical houses built for the factory workers of Arroyo. It was sold as the American dream. It has its own bars, shops, school, park and metro station. Neglect shows everywhere.
History
The corporations that own the Arroyo factories planned Rancho Coronado and advertised it to their workers. Its rows of red roofed houses recall the American suburbs of the twentieth century.
The landowners and factory owners of Arroyo designed Rancho Coronado as housing for the workers of their plants. Its identical townhouses, small shops, bars, park, school and metro station recall a classic suburb of the last century. The corporations even gave it a police force of its own, because the NCPD could not be relied on.

Life in Rancho Coronado
Most residents are mid to senior factory workers, along with some corporate staff tired of the city. Many never need to leave Santo Domingo at all.
The fixer El Capitan works here, and the district appears in jobs throughout the Santo Domingo storylines.
Some people say that Rancho Coronado is not a part of Night City at all, but a small town on its edge. People from other districts joke that it looks more like a hamster cage, because its residents have everything they need in one place.
