Severance Package is a Thievery gig from El Capitan in Arroyo, Santo Domingo. Rihanna Kumar was a top engineer at Cytech, with a fine house, organic meat and a low opinion of the poor, until the company threw her out. Now she wants her own severance package: the data of the projects she worked on, kept on a server in the Cytech factory on Olivia Street.
Story
A New Perspective
El Capitan tells the story in the journal. Rihanna Kumar was once a top engineer at Cytech. She lived in a great house, ate real meat and looked down on the poor, all the corpo basics. Then her fairy tale took a twist. Cytech turned her world upside down. No more house, no more meat, but a new view of poverty from the other side of the fence. Now she has hired El Capitan to get her a severance package.
V is to break into the Cytech factory and take the data of the projects their poor, mistreated client worked on. With it, she can turn her personal disaster into a new dawn for her career. El Capitan wonders if he missed his calling as a poet. Either way, what matters is that she is paying.
The Factory
Armed guards watch the factory grounds. Inside, only a few workers and guards stand between the stairs and the server room on the second floor. The computer with the data sits on the left side of the room.
