Story

The Dispatcher

The NCPD dispatcher calls all subcontractors to Hargreaves Street. Darius Miles, wanted for murder, belongs to the 6th Street gang and leads one of its drug making rings. The city promises a reward for ending the threat from Miles and his drug cell.

To the Motel

A note titled "to transport to the motel" lists the goods: sacks of chemicals, barrels, centrifuges, vacuum pumps, nitrous oxide tanks and cheap single use hands. It ends in capitals, with a demand for air filters.

Send Someone Else

A shard records Darius with Mathias Smith. There is another transport, and it must go to the Dewdrop Inn. Mathias will tell Carol. Darius asks him to send someone else. Mathias asks why, as she will handle it. Darius will not say, and only repeats the request. Mathias gives in.
