The Ring of Grit is the best Ring for the Fighter Vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2. It suits any shield user, because blocking an attack costs less Stamina.
Lennart gives it in Melve at the end of Readvent of Calamity, after the dragon is driven off and Ulrika is found in Harve Village.

How to Get Ring of Grit
- Return to Melve after one of Captain Brant's quests to trigger Readvent of Calamity.
- Drive off the dragon, then find Ulrika in Harve Village.
- Report back to Lennart in Melve to receive the ring.
There are several locations where the Ring of Grit can be found in Dragon's Dogma 2. Location:
- The earliest location to find the Ring of Grit is described in the video guide below (at 14:00). The Ring is located within Worldsend Cavern. The cave can be accessed by climbing the ladder guarded by the Cyclopes at the top of the castle in the Ancient Battleground north from the Checkpoint Rest Town. Once inside Worldsend Cavern the Ring of Grit can be found in 1F after destroying a bolder to access the eastern path of the cave.
- Located in a chest inside Tomb of Renu'Lebarr.
- By completing Readvent of Calamity, and reporting back to Lennart.

Ring of Grit Map Location and Quest Guide
Readvent of Calamity is a side quest that starts by itself in Melve when a dragon attacks the village. It triggers on a return to Melve after one of Captain Brant's quests in Vernworth. Feast of Deception closes it, so it must be done before then. Lennart hands over the Ring of Grit when the news of Ulrika reaches him.
- Return to Melve after one of Captain Brant's quests in Vernworth. A dragon attacks the village and the quest begins.
- Fight the dragon alongside the villagers until it flies away. Aim for the red blisters on its body, which take heavy damage.
- Speak to Sigurd, the hooded man with a large spear, to unlock the Mystic Spearhand vocation.
- Leave Melve and let at least a day pass, then return to Ulrika's house. A cutscene plays and Ulrika asks the Arisen to stay the night.
- Leave the house the next morning. Ulrika has fled the village, and Lennart asks for news of her.
- Travel to Harve Village and speak to Ulrika.
- Return to Lennart in Melve and tell him that Ulrika is safe to complete the quest.
Rewards: 2,000 XP, 4,500 G and the Ring of Grit.
