The Ash of War: Holy Ground is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Sacred affinity and the Holy Ground skill. It is a mid-game find in the Altus Plateau.
Holy Ground raises the shield to consecrate a small circle of ground with the Erdtree's power. For 35 seconds, the wielder and any allies standing inside take 20% less damage and steadily regenerate HP. It suits co-op players and shield users who hold a position and want sustained healing and defense.
Stats
It grants the Sacred affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Heavy, Keen, Quality or Lightning. The skill costs 30 FP. It fits Thrusting Shield, Small Shield, Medium Shield and Greatshield.
How to Get Ash of War: Holy Ground Guide
- Ash of War: Holy Ground drops when three Chariots collide in the Auriza Hero's Grave in the Capital Outskirts.
- Activating a flame pillar at the end of a side passage teleports a third Chariot into the path of two Chariots that run side by side, destroying them and releasing the item.

Skill
Cast it where the fight will stay put, such as in front of a boss that holds its ground, since the circle is small and a single roll can carry a player out of it. The cast takes a few seconds, so it is best used during a lull. Allies benefit only while standing in the circle.
Good With

Notes
