Castellan Edgar is a character in Elden Ring.
Castellan Edgar is the warden of Castle Morne and the father of Irina. He refuses to leave the castle while its treasured sword is in danger from the rebel Misbegotten. Once his daughter's letter reaches him, he can be summoned against the Leonine Misbegotten. Her death sends him down a path of vengeance that ends in an invasion in Liurnia.
Lore
Edgar is a Banished Knight who still wears the armor of his order.
Godrick the Grafted named him warden of Castle Morne and charged him with guarding the Grafted Blade Greatsword. When the Misbegotten servants rose up, he sent Irina away and stayed behind to protect the blade.
Edgar left the castle at last to spend his days with his daughter, only to find her slain. He swore vengeance on the Misbegotten and hunted them until grief drove him mad.

Quest
The steps below follow Irina's questline from start to finish.
- Carry Irina's Letter to Edgar at the top of a tower in Castle Morne.
- Summon him against the Leonine Misbegotten if desired and defeat the boss.
- Speak to him beside Irina's body near the Bridge of Sacrifice.
- Defeat Edgar the Revenger when he invades at the Revenger's Shack in Liurnia of the Lakes.
