Castle Morne is a fortress on the southern tip of the Weeping Peninsula. The main road of the peninsula leads straight to its gate. Its servants have rebelled, and Misbegotten now roam the halls. The Leonine Misbegotten guards the castle's famous sword. Most runs reach Castle Morne early, as a side trip from Limgrave.

Lore
Castle Morne once belonged to a clan of warriors who rose against Queen Marika. They fought Godfrey, First Elden Lord here and were defeated. A sword monument near the castle marks that last stand. The one survivor reforged the swords of the dead into the Grafted Blade Greatsword. That blade became the treasure of the keep.
After the Shattering, Godrick the Grafted took the castle. He set Castellan Edgar to guard it. The Misbegotten servants were treated cruelly, and in time they rose up. Edgar's blind daughter Irina fled north, but her escort was attacked on the road. Edgar stays at his post until the sword of Morne is won back.
