Gatekeeper Gostoc is a character in Elden Ring.
Gatekeeper Gostoc guards the main gate of Stormveil Castle and offers advice on how to slip inside. He seems helpful, but he secretly hopes the Tarnished will die so he can loot the body. While he stalks the castle, he takes a share of the runes lost on every death there. He later opens a shop that sells useful goods and, at the very end of Nepheli's story, an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.
Lore
Gostoc is an old servant of Stormveil Castle who lurks in its gatehouse and hidden corners.
He loathes Godrick the Grafted, who always scorned and mistreated him. He prowls the castle and robs the corpses of Tarnished who die hunting the demigod.
Gostoc locked the Tarnished in a dark storeroom with a Banished Knight, hoping for an easy kill. After Godrick fell, he stamped on his old master's corpse, and he later served Nepheli Loux as her attendant.
