The Shadow Bait is an incantation in Elden Ring, from the Two Fingers school. It is a mid-game find.
Shadow Bait is an incantation of the Two Fingers' servants, the Roundtable assassins, and those beguiled by its shadow are said to see a hated foe within it. It throws a pale gold shadow that lures nearby human-sized enemies such as knights, soldiers, demi-humans and Omens and draws their aggression, and it can be cast while moving or crouching. Its long throwing range sets it apart from the White Shadow's Lure skill, letting a caster pull enemies away from a group or out of position from afar. It only affects medium or smaller humanoid foes. It suits stealth builds and Confessors who like to split up groups and set up backstabs.
Effect
Throws a pale gold shadow that lures human-sized foes and draws their aggression; it can be cast while moving or crouching. Each cast costs 15 FP and 14 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
How to Get Shadow Bait Guide
- Found on a corpse guarded by an Omen in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, past the large gate to the right of the Underground Roadside Site of Grace.
- If the gate is locked, climb the ladder ahead and to the left of the grace and take the far right doorway of the pipe room.
