The Miséricorde is a Dagger in Elden Ring. Players can grab it early, in Stormveil Castle.

The Miséricorde is a dagger favored by military physicians in white, its hard, pointed blade made for especially potent critical hits. It lies behind a fog wall in Stormveil Castle that takes a Stonesword Key, near the Grafted Scion. It is the longest dagger and has thrusting heavy attacks. Its critical multiplier is the highest of any weapon, so its backstabs and ripostes outdo the Rapier and hit as hard as a colossal weapon's. It suits any character as a quick swap for critical hits and a stealthy build focused on backstabs.

Skill

Quickstep costs 3 FP. The wielder performs a quick sidestep in any direction with a burst of invulnerability frames, a little shorter on repeated uses. Stepping sideways while locked on circles around the target, and an attack right after the step comes out as a rolling or backstep attack depending on the direction. It covers more ground with a light equip load and costs very little FP. It is the weapon's default Ash of War, so another can take its place.

Its critical rating is 140, above the 110 most of its class carries, so backstabs and ripostes land noticeably harder. That is the highest critical in the game.

Keep it ready as a swap weapon for ripostes and backstabs, opening enemies with parries or stance breaks before switching in.
