The Shattering Crystal is a Crystalian sorcery in Elden Ring. It is found in the Academy of Raya Lucaria, around the middle of a run.
Shattering Crystal is a sorcery of the mysterious Crystalians, inorganic beings that nonetheless live and cleave so closely to the primeval current that sorcerers revere them as guests. It forms a mass of crystal at the staff tip and flings it forward, where it shatters into a shotgun-like burst of large, medium and small shards, and charging raises the damage. The biggest shards hit hardest near the caster, so it works best at close range where more of the burst connects, and it can be cast while walking. The Crystal Staff and Rotten Crystal Staff both boost it, making it a natural close-range option for crystal sorcery builds.
Effect
Creates a mass of crystal at the staff tip and shatters it in a forward burst of shards; it can be cast while moving, and charging increases damage. Each cast costs 21 FP and 30 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
How to Get Shattering Crystal Guide
Found on a corpse on the second floor of the Church of the Cuckoo in the Academy of Raya Lucaria, reached by crossing the rooftops and entering through a broken window.
