Great Glintstone Shard is a glintstone sorcery of the Academy of Raya Lucaria, and its description notes that those unworthy of the stone crown typically end their brief journey into sorcery here. It launches a large magic projectile with slight tracking that can be cast repeatedly while walking. It plays as a straight upgrade to Glintstone Pebble, dealing more damage per shot at the same firing rate with slightly longer range, and it chains smoothly after Pebble. It is useful for fighting big enemies at mid range or taking down smaller foes in one hit. It suits sorcerers moving past their starting spells who want a cheap, dependable main projectile.

How to Get Great Glintstone Shard Guide
Great Glintstone Shard is sold for 2,000 runes by Sorceress Sellen, Miriel, Pastor of Vows or Preceptor Seluvis once one of them is given the Academy Scroll. If all three teachers die before any of them receives the scroll, it cannot be bought in that playthrough.
- Travel to the Lake-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace at the southern tip of Liurnia of the Lakes.
- Head west to the graveyard full of skeletons and pick up the Academy Scroll.
- Give the Academy Scroll to Sorceress Sellen, Miriel, Pastor of Vows or Preceptor Seluvis.
- Buy Great Glintstone Shard from that teacher for 2,000 runes.
- If that teacher dies later, give their bell bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold to buy it there for the same price.
