The Stone Coffin Fissure is a huge chasm under the southern tip of the Cerulean Coast. Countless stone coffins line its walls, and many of its enemies put intruders to sleep. A seal of Miquella blocks the entrance until his Great Rune is broken. The Putrescent Knight waits in the Garden of Deep Purple at the bottom. It is reached late in the expansion.

Lore
The fissure gathered stone coffins over many ages. Ghostflame once cleansed the impure lives inside them. Their remains slowly congealed into putrescence.
Miquella came to the Land of Shadow on his way to godhood. Before he rose, he cast away his other self, St. Trina, into this chasm. With her he abandoned his love. St. Trina's slumber turned the bottom of the fissure into a garden of deep purple flowers. The putrescence drank her nectar and rose as the Putrescent Knight.
Guide
- Approach the Shadow Keep, or cross the bridge east of Bonny Village heading north, to break Miquella's seal.
- Travel to the peninsula at the southern tip of the Cerulean Coast.
- Drop into the great hole to reach the Fissure Site of Grace.
- Ride the coffins and climb down the cliffs through the fissure.
- Face the Putrescent Knight in the Garden of Deep Purple.
