The Winged Serpent Helm is a helm in Elden Ring. It comes from Shadow of the Erdtree and is found in Shadow Keep.
The Winged Serpent Helm belongs to Kood, captain of the Fire Knights, with a winged serpent, the token creature of Messmer's military forces, perched atop it. That serpent crest makes it the standout look among Messmer's knights, and Kood drops it along with the Ash of War: Flame Spear on the bridge leading to Messmer the Impaler in Shadow Keep. It is a light to medium helm with modest defense, and it enhances Fire Knight skills such as Flame Skewer, Flame Spear, Flare, O Serpent and Messmer's Assault by about ten percent. It suits fire knight builds that wield Messmer's spear or other weapons carrying those skills.
Stats
It carries 7 poise at 4.6 weight. It also enhances Fire Knight skills.
How to Get Winged Serpent Helm Guide
It is obtained by defeating Fire Knight Kood at the Shadow Keep, who also drops Ash of War: Flame Spear. He guards the path to Messmer the Impaler and is reached from the Specimen Storehouse by climbing specimens after using the lever to move them. Head outside, turn right, and head up the stairs. Then turn left and cross the bridge.
