The Ash of War: Flame Spear is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Flame Art affinity and the Flame Spear skill. It comes from the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
Flame Spear is the skill of Kood, captain of the Fire Knights: the wielder readies the weapon and thrusts, unleashing a spear of flame straight ahead. Charging the attack increases both the damage and the distance the flame travels. The skill also coats the weapon in fire, adding flat fire damage to follow-up attacks. It suits Faith and fire builds using thrusting weapons that want a ranged fire attack.
Stats
It grants the Flame Art affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Heavy, Keen, Quality or Fire. The skill costs 19 FP and can be charged. It fits Dagger, Straight Sword, Light Greatsword, Greatsword, Colossal Sword, Thrusting Sword, Heavy Thrusting Sword, Katana, Great Katana, Twinblade, Spear, Great Spear, Halberd and Thrusting Shield.

Skill
At close range both the thrust and the flame can hit the same target, so it is strongest point-blank. Charge it from a distance to reach enemies further away. Only the weapon's thrust can be parried, and the flame projectile's damage scales with Faith.
