Gateway Outpost "Alba" is a mountain outpost in the north-east of the Albaneve Summits, now held by Scavengers. The Gateway Outposts of the Summits answered to Everfrore Keep, whose overworked clerk once complained that Alba sent more requests than any other outpost. Two of its requests were about running out of socks. A note left at Alba explains why. The last pair was on Milton's feet when a snow sabertooth attacked him, and he lost his feet and the socks with them. The writer knew of more socks in a hidden chest behind the gong on the roof, but could not be bothered to climb up.
