Hawk Set

Hawk Set

Type	Armour set
Class	Ranged
Level	23

The Hawk Set is a looted ranger armour set made for exploration. It cuts the stamina cost of gliding, climbing and sprinting, and it adds damage for bows and daggers. Bosses and chests drop it, mostly in the Kindlewastes.

Pieces

The chest lowers the stamina drain while gliding, the gloves while climbing and the trousers while sprinting. The helmet adds critical hits and backstab damage, and the gloves add ranged and dagger damage. The boots refill stamina faster.

How to Get Hawk Set Guide

The Hawk Set comes only from loot. Its pieces drop at random from bosses and lootable chests, and most of them turn up in the Kindlewastes. Each piece drops on its own, so a full set usually takes many chests and boss kills. A copy of higher rarity takes more upgrades and reaches a higher item level. The Hunter upgrades the pieces with Runes, and a legendary copy also needs Legendary Runes for its last steps.

Levelling and Upgrades

Every piece starts at item level 20. Each upgrade at the Hunter costs Runes and adds one item level and one enhancement, such as extra stamina or a level of the Silent Stride skill. The rarity of the copy sets the number of upgrades, from two for uncommon to five for legendary. A legendary copy reaches level 25, and its last steps also cost Legendary Runes.

Lore

The Hawk descriptions borrow from birds of prey and the wild. The hood carries an iron facemask that was greatly inspired by owls. The chest piece is decorated with vines, petals and other shapes from nature. The gloves are reliable enough to shield the arms from claws. The trousers follow a fashion made popular by famous falconers of ages long past. The sturdy leather boots promise a ride as swift as the bluejays.
