The Hophare is a fleeting animal in Enshrouded, found in the Springlands, Revelwood and the Albaneve Summits. The Hophare is a tameable farm animal found in the Springlands, Revelwood and Albaneve Summits regions. You can tame it and keep it in your base.
Where to Find the Hophare - Map Location
Hophares are most common in the Springlands. Several live right around Longkeep, near the well just north of the Cinder Vault and along the cliff to the north-east. In Revelwood, a pair often grazes by the Ancient Obelisk north of Fort Kelvin. A hardier mountain kind lives in the Albaneve Summits, for example on the east shore of the lake south of the Camellia Lake Marble Quarry. Hophares are fleeting animals and run at the first sign of danger. Approaching slowly makes it easier to hunt or tame one.

Taming and Breeding
Hophares can be tamed with Hophare Food Bait. They require one successful pet interaction to be tamed. After being brought to your base they require shelter, a Farm Animal Pillow and a Hophare Feeder with Hophare Food. You can craft these at the Farmer.
If provided with a spare bed, a pair of Hophares have a chance to produce offspring (Baby Hophares).
Domesticated Hophares do not produce resource.

Baby Hophare
An adorable little Hophare. Its eyes frantically scan the environment when you pick it up, but it calms down quickly. Breeding a pair of Hophares gives a Baby Hophare.
