The Scavenger Camp with Mine Shaft is a Scavengers camp in the Springlands, between Rookmore and Longkeep. The gang played a cruel prank on one of their own here. They told Dieter they had found a chest in a new tunnel, then blew the entrance shut behind him. His note lies beside his skeleton in the shaft. It starts the lore quest Playing Pranks, which ends at a silver chest.

Where to Find Scavenger Camp with Mine Shaft - Map Location

The camp lies just south of Rookmore and west of Longkeep. The Ancient Vault - Blacksmith is further north. A Flame Shrine stands a short way to the north-west.

Quests

Playing Pranks starts with the note "He'll be fine down there!". Something or someone was trapped behind a wall of rubble in the mineshaft. At the note, turn left to find explosive barrels in the rubble. Blow them up and go through the cave to reach the silver chest.

Hidden Chests

A wall of rubble seals the mineshaft, and a silver chest waits inside. The quest Playing Pranks leads to it.

Find the note "He'll Be Fine Down There" at the camp.
Turn left from the note to find the explosive barrels in the rubble.
Blow up the barrels to open the way.
Go through the cave into the mineshaft.
Open the silver chest inside.

Lore Pages

"He'll be fine down there!" lies on a table in the camp. Its writer brushes off worries about Dieter, who has a shovel and should dig himself out soon. "Curse These Numbskulls" lies by a skeleton inside the shaft. Dieter writes that the others nearly blew him to pieces. He is starving, and his hands are numb from digging. He ends by wishing the Shroud would take them all.
