Shorewatch is a dead town in the south of the Kindlewastes, lost to the Shroud and held by the Fell. Its last resident was Aunt Gertrude, who refused to leave the home where she grew up. She stayed behind with her many stray dogs, even as everyone else left. Her favourite, Pompom, was expecting puppies, and Gertrude made a cosy space for her in the basement. A timid dog with spotted fur, Pompom Jr., still lives in an empty home here and can be tamed with Dog Food Bait.
Where to Find Shorewatch - Map Location
Shorewatch lies in the Shroud south of Ridgeback Mine and its Shroud Root. The Flame Shrine of Manathor is to the south, and Scatterbone lies to the south-east. A cave passage opens to the south-west.

Enemies
The town belongs to the Fell, the Shroud's own soldiers and beasts. Time inside the Shroud is limited, so the search for the dog and the chest should not be slowed by long fights.

A silver chest stands on the second floor of the north-westernmost building. The town lies in the Shroud, so the chest is best reached with a full Shroud timer.

Lore Pages
"Song of Swooping Shadows" hangs on the Scavenger bulletin board. It is a children's rhyme that warns of winged creatures striking from the sky, a warning about the Draconian Vulture. Gertrude's own story is told in Gertrude's Dogs. In it, her niece gives up on moving her, and Gertrude sets out many more bowls so the dogs stay safe long after she is gone.
