Ridgeback Mine is an iron mine in the Kindlewastes that lies under the Shroud. A Shroud Root grows in the mine, guarded by the boss Fell Sicklescythe. The Blacksmith reveals its location in the quest Hearts Of Iron. The quest only unlocks if the mine has not been visited before it is accepted. A gold chest lies a few steps south of the root.
Where to Find Ridgeback Mine - Map Location
Ridgeback Mine lies south-west of the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire. Sapphire Strand is to the north-west, and Shorewatch is to the south. A Gem Forge stands to the west, and a Hidden Temple lies to the east. The whole site lies in the Shroud.

Quests
In Hearts Of Iron, the Blacksmith marks an iron mine under the Shroud on the map. Reaching Ridgeback Mine completes the quest and rewards Iron Ore. The quest asks for a high Shroud Passage level, since the mine is fully Shrouded.
